The Ultimaker S8 builds on the legacy of its predecessors, the S5 and S7, but is faster and more accurate thanks to the UltiMaker Cheetah motion planner, redesigned high-flow PrintCores, built-in accelerometer, new filament feeder system, and improved firmware.
The Ultimaker S8 achieves print speeds of up to 500 mm/s and 50,000 mm/s² acceleration. All this with an improved accuracy of 0.15 mm ± 0.15%.
The “Complete” version of the S8 also includes the Ultimaker Material Station. This holds up to six spools and automatically changes filament when a spool runs out.
