FormFutura was founded in Amsterdam in 2012 as a supplier of PLA and ABS filament for FDM (FFF) 3D printers in virtually every imaginable or desired color.
Technical Materials in all Diameters
Today, Formfutura is based in Nijmegen and also offers technical thermoplastics such as PEEK / PEI and a wide range of fiber-reinforced filaments, in both 1.75mm (Prusa) and 2.85mm (UltiMaker) diameters.
FormFutura also works closely with the German company LEHVOSS Luvocom, which is especially evident in its range of specialty polyamides / nylons.
Custom-made 3d Printer Filament
Because it is sometimes important to be able to rely on custom solutions, Formfutura offers custom filament production with a minimum order quantity. This includes specific colors, filament types, or spool content.
A Natural Partnership
Formfutura has a strong focus on sustainability, recycling, and availability. For example, it is possible to have PLA and PETG printed objects recycled into new filament. Formfutura also uses reusable spools and packaging as much as possible.
Furthermore, Formfutura strongly believes in open-source 3D printing, a value that we at Fenix 3D also highly uphold.
We are convinced that the AM industry greatly benefits from the open sharing of knowledge and technologies. The more people can use additive manufacturing and know how to do so, the faster it will be embraced and applied worldwide.
