The summer holidays are almost over, but at Fenix3D, we’re starting autumn with renewed energy and an even bigger team! We’re also organizing our first 3D printing event at our brand-new partner, the SPARK campus in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
The Fenix 3D team is expanding!
Earlier this month, Robert Slegers joined Fenix 3D as an AM instructor and service engineer.
Robert will join Gijs de Mönnick as a field service engineer. He will also provide training and focus on engineering.
Dennie Rijk will start as commercial manager at Fenix 3D on September 1st. He will focus on key accounts and the further development of Fenix 3D domestically and internationally (see our open vacancies for more information).

Fenix 3D event with Spark and Formlabs

We’re kicking off this final quarter with a seminar on September 16th at SPARK Campus/Labs Den Bosch. In addition to the presence of our Fenix3D team, we’re offering the following program:
- Fenix 3D
From concept to 3D-printed series production. With Gijs de Mönnink and Robert Slegers - SPARK Campus:
Supporting the maker and innovation ecosystem. With Cassandra Vugts - Formlabs
The latest news about SLS and SLA 3D printing technology. With Linus Häggblom - Guided tour
The machines and spaces available to Spark members.
New Products: Formfutura ApolloX Foaming

Print UV-resistant ASA 0.33 g/cm³ and lightweight filament for applications like drones and model making with FormFutura ApolloX Foaming. This 3D printer filament is enriched with a heat-activated “foaming agent” that can reduce the density of the final print by up to 34%.
The final density can be determined by adjusting the printing temperature between 230 and 285°C. ASA can be used in environments up to 100°C and is UV and weather resistant, ensuring stable color and strength in outdoor applications.
Supplier white papers
Sometimes a document is just a little easier to read than a website. That’s why we’ve decided to offer detailed whitepapers from our 3D printing suppliers in a new Whitepaper section on Fenix3D.eu.
