New: FormFutura ApolloX Foaming

FormFutura ApolloX Foaming

Print UV-resistant ASA 0.33 g/cm³ light for drones and modeling with FormFutura ApolloX Foaming. This 3D printer filament is enriched with a heat-activated “foaming agent” that can reduce the density of the final print by up to 34%.

The final density can be determined by adjusting the printing temperature between 230 and 285°C. ASA can be used up to 100°C and is UV and weather resistant, ensuring stable color and strength during outdoor applications.

A perfect layer bond

As the filament expands, it is pressed against the previous layer for better adhesion and a less noticeable layer change on the outside.

Variable densities with advanced 3D printing techniques

It’s possible to print a solid part with varying densities using ApolloX Foaming. This is achieved by breaking the model into multiple parts and applying different extrusion temperatures, speeds, and extrusion multiplication rates to each part in the slicer.
