Now available: the AMT vapor smoothing machines. Waterproof 3D-printed PA or TPU parts with the surface quality of an injection-molded part. The AMT PostPro SFX was specifically designed for the Formlabs Fuse and fits the build volume of the Fuse1 (+) perfectly.
Vapor smoothing 3D-printed parts also improves their mechanical properties by fusing the outer layers, thereby increasing surface tension. This is similar to adding bevels to the corners of a model. To achieve this, AMT has developed a special biodegradable, skin-safe, and FDA-approved solvent called PostPro Pure FA5802.
In addition to the relatively small AMT PostPro SFX, we can also supply, install and maintain the larger PostPro SF50 (50l volume) and PostPro SF100 (100L volume) on request.
